At the core of its design is its graphite blank, utilizing HVF (High Volume Fiber) technology to produce a rod that has exceptional responsiveness and serious durability. With this technology the use of resin in its construction is precisely controlled, shedding unnecessary weight that would only curb its performance. Daiwa also incorporated their X45 technology in the blank, a left/right carbon weave which radically improves rod strength by eliminating twist and blank ovalization. This technology reinforces the blank, keeping all its inherit strength when under load, such as fighting a fish, cast/retrieving a lure, and more. Outfitting the length of the rod, Fuji K guides offer great control line and lure. These guides shed line effortlessly to mitigate tangles and keep you fishing instead of fighting your gear.
